Anachronistic Hot Dogs

Fun fact: While playing Bioshock Infinite I noticed that there are a ridiculous number of hot dogs in odd places like safes and lock boxes. While food in general is usually in really strange places the hot dogs stood out to me as anachronistic while everything else were pretty simple and common foods. I mentioned this to John and he Googled it for me and discovered that hot dogs were actually pretty popular in 1912. They were already being sold in Coney Island in 1906 but they were invented in 1870.
I also got a screenshot of some potatoes floating in a toilet in the game that Booker could eat to gain health. Although finding potatoes was also not abnormal the idea of gaining health from eating potatoes out of a dirty toilet was nasty.

Here is a link to my game log which contains no hot dogs or toilet potatoes!

You can also always access my game log under the links on the side of my blog.
